SRVDAY is one of the most impactful ways the Faith Alive community actively fulfills our mission to serve others. This 2-3 day event includes 5-7 diverse community service projects and mobilizes up to 150 plus participants. In 2025, SRVDAY is scheduled for May and will focus on supporting local schools, city improvement initiatives, foster care, and food distribution, along with several smaller projects addressing community needs.
Foster Family Care In collaboration with local organizations such as DHHS, Rayola,
and Ana’s Treasures, we provide financial support and volunteer engagement to assist foster care families and their children. Many of the 2025 initiatives will be incorporated into SRVDAY, featuring a variety of hands-on service projects.
Emergency Disaster Projects Each year, Faith Alive partners with Convoy of Hope to support their efforts in providing essential resources—food, water, shelter, medical supplies, and more—to communities affected by hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes, and other natural disasters and emergencies. Notably, 100% of all contributions to Convoy of Hope go directly toward relief efforts, with no funds allocated to overhead costs.
Shepherds Gift Given Faith Alive leadership’s strong connections with area pastors,
we are frequently informed of smaller, immediate needs that pastors and their families encounter throughout the year. KB fundsare specifically designated to provide timely assistance for these needs, allowing for meaningful support when it’s needed most.
Life Choices Resource Center The Life Choices Resource Center, including its walk-in clinic, has a longstanding partnership with Faith Alive's KB support. This center
plays a vital role in the community, providing significant support and
resources in situations of unplanned pregnancy. Through their in-house and outreach programs, Life Choices offers a compassionate voice for the unborn, as well as practical assistance, guidance, and even spiritual support for parents who seek their
services.
Embrace Grace As a local branch of the National Embrace Grace organization, our
Embrace Grace (EG) team partners with referrals from their website
and Life Choices Resource Center to support young mothers facing
unplanned pregnancies. EG provides a compassionate, mentorship-based care program, along with a celebratory baby shower upon the child's arrival. EG leaves a lasting impression of Christ’s love beyond the nine-month journey.
True North Faith Alive is unique in our region, providing both clinical counseling
and biblical caregiving to support our community. In addition to weekly care options, TN offers budgeting assistance, grief support groups, and Life Recovery groups. KB funds are allocated to provide scholarships for individuals who need clinical care assistance.
Christmas in Action Each year, Faith Alive blesses over 40 families with a holiday card and two gift cards: one to a local restaurant and another to Walmart.
The goal is simple but impactful—to provide families with a special
meal out and help with Christmas shopping for their children. The love
and encouragement this brings has a meaningful impact during
the holiday season.
